Recording session: Monday February 3rd 2014

On Monday we had another Chapel session, after a long period of time without any performers, I was looking forward to see who we will be recording this time.
This time, it was a folk singer song writer. I looked her up on Youtube before the session, to get an idea of what I can expect from the session.
When I came to the session, majority of the things were set up, including the video and the audio side, just the final checks were carried out.
Then, we started recording,  2 people on the audio 3 people on the cameras, everything was looking to go to plan. The first song needed more than 3 takes,  the second song needed just 3 takes.
The session went great, the artist was very happy with our work, and really liked our quality of recordings.
I found out also that she is well known so it was important to make this session as good of an experience for her as we possibly could.
I think it was a great session, the camera work was great, including the transitions and the overall quality of the video.
The audio quality was great very clear sound ensured that the quality of the recording matched the quality of the singer herself.
